Our owner and head trainer, Alicia Wilkinson, has a BA in Equine Studies and Business Management from Virginia Intermont College.  Alicia has successfully competed on the "A" show circuit for 21 years and continues on a professional level now.  In college, she competed on the ANRC team and Intercollegiate team, traveling nationally and internationally.  She graduated in 1999 and has been teaching in the Charlotte area for the past 8 years. Alicia is known for her patience and practical experience when instructing her students and when training horses.  Kids and adults of all ages and levels feel comfortable and enjoy their lessons. 

David Couick, owner and farrier, is a native Charlottean.  He has had horses from the time he could walk. David has been shoeing horses for 15 years and his experience brings an invaluable element in maintaining sound horses. David is CCA's resident farrier.  He is highly recommended by Dr. Sam Tetterton of Palmetto Equine in Camden, SC and other top professionals.  CCA is unique in having a great resource like David available.
